CHARACTER NAME: Logan Delos
CHARACTER AGE: Indeterminately early-mid 30s
SERIES: Westworld
CHRONOLOGY: End of 01x05

Guns and tits and all that mindless shit that I usually enjoy.
You have no idea. This place seduces everybody eventually.”
〈 BACKGROUND: 〉
He's a disaster.
〈 PERSONALITY 〉
It's clear from his very first appearance just what kind of man Logan is... and considering it's a comment rating the attractiveness of a woman in a customer service role as compared to a robot lady? That kind of man is the kind known as scumbag fuckboy. He takes a very "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" approach to his vacations spent in Westworld, wholeheartedly embracing the fact that there are no consequences in the park.
A repeat visitor to the park, Logan is also one of the investors that finance Westworld. His obsession with (and arguably borderline addiction to) artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and virtual reality is tied inexorably with both his choice to invest in the park, and in how his experiences tend to run. He wants to have the ultimate video game fantasy, which is what drew him to the park in the first place. He's a rich hedonist first and foremost, and plays the game in a way that directly reflects that: bisexual orgies, booze, and casual murder.
Logan claims that Westworld brings out the truth of people, though who he is in the park isn't too far from who he is in the real world. He's arrogant and impetuous, apathetic to others' feelings when it doesn't benefit him, and quick to be cruel to those who he sees as beneath him. A powerful and successful businessman—though his success and money clearly come from the hard work of others that he has inherited—he likes to think he's a lot more cutthroat than he likely actually is. In reality, he doesn't actually like being challenged—he promoted William to executive vice president of Delos specifically because he saw him as weak and unthreatening.
If this makes him seem like he's a little one dimensional, well… while he may not have a one-note personality, he's certainly not a concerto. He's a one-percenter who is used to glad-handing his way through life. To say he suffers from affluenza is not an overstatement, and it gives him a sense of entitlement and chip on his shoulder the size of Utah. Unfortunately, it also gives him an unmatched ability to bite off more than he can chew.
It's a good thing there are no consequences in Westworld, right?
〈 POWERS 〉
Paying Customer - In the park, hosts (theoretically) can't fatally injure any of the guests, and that immunity will carry over in Logan's Porter-given powers, making him semi-invulnerable. Bullets won't cause much more than bruising, and things like knives or other practical weapons—while still causing pretty gruesome injuries—heal before they can cause any lasting harm. Even more typical fatal blows wouldn't take him out fully, though he is ultimately killable. It just takes some dedication and determination to make it stick long enough for the nanites to need to revive him. Stabbing him in the gut or chopping a limb off won't do it, but blowing a building up with him inside sure would! The downside of all of this is that none of his stamina, strength, skill, or pain tolerance is increased whatsoever. So while he can survive a lot, he's going to hate every second of it!
Theatrical Violence - Since I'm not interested in playing a serial killer and want Logan's kill-happy video game tendencies to still be on the table for him, his murderous tendencies won't stick. While imPorts are completely exempt from this and will follow the normal nanite resuscitation rules, any weapon or attack Logan enacts against natives will be negated from lethal damage to a temporary death-like state lasting no more than 12 hours. Side effects may include selective amnesia.
I won't use this ability to have him "kill" more than 25 natives at once without mod approval.
Black Hat - The most fashionable secret identity! While wearing his black hat with his bandanna pulled up over his face, Logan's identity is completely imperceptible to anyone who doesn't already know that it's him. Without him explicitly telling someone who he is while wearing it, they won't be able to describe his physical attributes (except that he's a white dude in a black cowboy hat) or connect his appearance to seeing him without it on. In addition, his identity cannot be forcibly revealed, and any attempts at unmasking him will prove futile.
